About Us

Acid Brass is a Sacramento-based group of musicians here for the love of music and bringing cheer to our community. We play New Orleans-style brass band music at bar crawls, jam sessions, and festivals across the region.

Our music creates a wall of sound that turns every city block we touch into a party!

We host a quarterly bar crawl that is open to the public. Musicians of all skill levels are welcome to bring their horns or drums. Non-musicians can dance along. Lights and noisemakers are welcome! Costumes encouraged!

The Snail

Our bar crawls go at a leisurely pace, some might even call it a snail's pace. Acid Brass is lightly themed after snails as a nod to this and our giant light-up snail accompanies the band to bring the vibes.

The snail also enjoys a steady diet of leafy greens (aka. dollar bills). Its mouth is always open for tips. (You can also tip the band via QR code and Venmo).
